Summer vacation  is almost over, and after driving over 5000 miles over the past three weeks, I can use the rest. 

Polly, myself, Sky, Marcus, and my mom left on June 27. We traveled through six states, spending time in the Grand Tetons  and Yellowstone National Park before reaching  Polly's parents' lake house on Little Birch Lake in Hackensack, MN (population 230).  On July 6, we drove my mom to the St Paul Airport, and picked up Sky's girlfriend, Joa. We returned to Hackensack, where we relaxed until  July 11, making a mad, three day dash home. Even so, we were able to spend a day in Yellowstone again (our favorite place).

I was able to take quite a few photos, though, using an Olympus C-2100 digital camera. Here are a few of the photos I especially liked:
